A reply letter to talk about transportation and activities in Hong Kong nowadays and in the past

3rd April, 2014

Dear Joe,

How are you? I want to share some information about transportation and activities in Hong Kong nowadays and in the past with you.

Firstly, let me tell you something about transportation. In the past, people always travelled by rickshaw. Also, students often went to school on foot. People carried brides in sedan chairs. Additionally, people always went to Lantau Island by ferry. People always cycled through the villages.

Now no more rickshaws can be found in Hong Kong. Besides, most students take minibus, MTR train or school bus to go to school, but only a few of them go to school on foot. Brides never travel in sedan chairs.

Furthermore, people often go to Lantau Island by MTR train. People always drive their car through the village.

Secondly, let me tell you something about activities. In the past, children often played bean bags, paper planes and board games. Moreover, people often listened to the gramophone. Televisions were not common in the past. In addition, people often went to park to spend their spare time.

Now, children often play computer games and online games. Also, people often listen to CD. People often watch TV and DVD. Besides, people often go to cinema to watch a film to spend their spare time.

I must close the letter now. I hope you will find the information useful!

Best,
Kelly Ang
