Christmas is coming soon, Father Christmas was thinking about what to give to everyone in the world.

“What else can I give to the people in the earth? The wealth witch gives them lots of money. The beauty angel gives them pretty and handsome countenances. The success fairy gives them lots of chances to win. The wisdom goddess gives them knowledge. The time man gives them hours. And the happy girl gives them happiness. I’m really puzzled for what I can give.” Father Christmas grumbled. His wife had an idea. “Maybe you can give lots of toys to the children. You tried this last year, didn’t you?” “I almost forget it!” Father Christmas started to find money everywhere. He even took out his piggy bank. Still, he didn’t have enough money to buy toys from Snowman Shop.

“What can I do this year?” Father Christmas was really bewildered for what he could give to everyone.” I don’t have wisdom, wealth, beauty or courage. I don’t have things that other friends have.”

Then, he thought of a great idea. “I can ask Mr. Pig for help. He is the brightest in the world.”

He went to the brick house to find Mr. Pig. “Hey, Mr. Pig! Please open the door. I have something to ask you. Calm down! I’m not the big, bad wolf.” Mr. Pig looked carefully and let Father Christmas come in.

“What’s happened to you? Why don’t you make toys for the children?” Mr. Pig asked curiously. “I don’t feel good. I don’t have enough money. I used lots of coins to buy comics and CDs.” “That’s a mess! All the people with magic prepare a gift for the human.” Father Christmas stroked his long beard and said, “I don’t have any presents to give. I’m just a Christmas man.” “Well, maybe you can think of something important of human. Maybe…love or caring! Nobody thinks about this!” Christmas man shouted happily,” I agree! If humans don’t have love and caring, they will become selfish souls.” Then, he became silent, “How can I make it?” “That’s easy! You can collect it in the earth. When a person helps someone in need, you’ll have a material. You need to find three materials in the earth. Then, I will help you to get some magic liquid. Put the materials into the magic liquid and mix it. Place it for two weeks. The love medicine will be ready after that.” Mr. Pig was so wise and he helped Father Christmas to solve his problem. “OK! I will go to the earth tomorrow.”

Father Christmas drove the sledge the next day. At first, he flew to a school and became a student. He went into a classroom. He waited for an hour. He saw it! A student named Anson forgot to bring his textbook. He wanted his classmate to read the book with him but no one would love to do this. Just then, a student named Vincent said, “Anson, I can share my book with you.” Anson was joyful and gave Vincent a candy. Father Christmas thought, “The first material was a candy.”

After school, Father Christmas turned into an office lady. He saw so many people on the street. Suddenly, an old lady stepped on a stone and fell on the ground. All her oranges fell onto the road. However, none of the people helped her except a kind girl. She was just six years old but she was thoughtful. She said to the old lady with her sweet voice, “Here are your oranges, grandma!” The old lady was cheerful and gave the girl an orange. “The second material is an orange.” Father Christmas thought.

At last, Father Christmas turned to a boy. He looked through the window of a house. There were a girl and her mother. The girl helped her mother to do housework. The mother praised her and she had the most beautiful smile on her face. “You’re such a helpful girl.” She said. “Mum, I love to help you because you’re so tired after working in the office. You must take a rest so that you will not be sick.” the girl said. “Let us eat the cakes.” The mother took out two pieces of mango cake. They shared the cakes happily. “The third material is a mango cake.” Father Christmas thought.

When he had three materials, he went to Mr. Pig’s house. Mr. Pig had prepared the magic liquid and he placed it in a big pot. “Now, place the three materials into the pot.” Mr. Pig ordered. Father Christmas carefully placed them into the pot. Next, he is waited for two weeks with Mr. Pig.

“Now, the love medicine is ready!” Mr. Pig put the medicine into a little bottle. “The best present for everyone is ready. I know the best present is love and care!” Father Christmas yelled.
