Long, long time ago , there was a city — Smart City. Yu, Steven, Vincent, and Eddie was chatting. They were talking excitedly about the big race for weeks. “There are a lot of prizes for the winner. I will be the winner !” said Vincent.“It's impossible as your stomach is too big. You eat too much and you are too fat. I can run faster than you. How can you win? Ha! Ha! Ha!” said Steven. “I will be the winner because I am the cleverest one. Therefore , the prizes belong to me,” said Yu.“In this city, I am the fastest. Nobody runs faster than me. So, I will be the winner,” said Eddie. Lok said “If you are the first one to get the hamburger, you will win one million hamburgers.” “I will win,” said Yu, Steven, Vincent and Eddie.

Yu, Steven, Vincent and Eddie were excited. They had never gone to a big forest like ABC Forest before. Their mothers gave them a note but the directions were the same. The directions were:

1.When you reach the starting point, take the ship.

2.Cross the river, then get off the ship.

3.Walk along the path and go through a cave.

4.Walk until you see another river.

5.Then, swim across the river. You will see a box. The hamburger is in that box.

6.Leave the river and then turn right.

7.Walk straight ahead 200 steps. You will see the finishing point.

That day, Yu, Steven, Vincent and Eddie arrived the place. They saw many athletes. They were afraid but felt excited because they could compete with some strong people like Dannie. “All the athletes, please go to the starting point. All the athletes, please go to the starting point,” said the judge.

All the athletes went into the starting point. The judge said, “3,2,1. Ready! Go!” All the athletes ran as fast as they could. They reached the river and took the ship. They crossed the river and get off the ship. Eddie saw a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. The girl loved him, too. Therefore, they talked for a long time. Therefore, Eddie could not finish the race.

After that, all the athletes could find the path except Vincent. Vincent walked along the road. Then, he saw his mother. His mother was very angry. His mother said, “Vincent , why don’t you finish your homework?” “Sorry, mum, I will finish the homework. But, can you give me some time? Let me finish the race,” Vincent said. “No,” said Vincent's mother. Therefore, Vincent could not finish the race, too.

Many athletes were lost in the path. Now, there were four athletes left. They are, Steven, Yu, Sam and Dannie. They swam in the river. However, Sam and Dannie did not know how to swim. So, they were drowned. When Yu was finding the box, Steven saw a turtle which was hurt. So, he stayed there and saved the turtle. He could not finish the race. Finally, Yu could find the box and then left the river. He turned right. He ran for 200 steps ahead quickly.

Yu won the race. He ate thirty hamburgers in one day. He was so full that he was sent to the hospital.
