A fire broke out in my home yesterday. Do you know why?

It was because yesterday dad and I went out, mum was alone at home so she cooked in the kitchen. Suddenly the phone rang then mum needed to answer the phone.On the other side of the phone was mum's friend.So they talked and talked and talked and mum had forgotten about the cooking.After a long time, mum smelt something,and it was the smell of the smoke!

Mum quickly turned off the stove and called 999. After a few minutes,the firemen came to our house and put the fire out. Oh! I hope our house would't get burn again!
