Mr Muddle wanted to post a letter. His one hand held a letter, the other hand held a half-eaten sandwich. Then he posted the sandwich but not the letter!

Miss Neat wanted to drink a cup of tea. She wanted to pour the tea from the teapot, but it was milk that came out. Why? Because Mr. Muddle put some milk into the teapot!

Mr Muddle gave Miss Neat a phone call. Miss Neat picked up the phone call and said “Hello.” Mr Muddle said “Goodbye.” Miss Neat asked “Who’s that?” “It’s you.” Replied Mr. muddle. Miss Neat thought for awhile, and finally she knew it was Mr Muddle on the other line.
