Christmas is the most wonderful festival of all!

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. It is a celebration of love, peace and joy. Loved ones, near and far away, remember each other with cards, text messages, e-mails, phone calls and gifts. They gather together for a festive dinner. Fun and laughter always fill the air.

This joy goes beyond the homes and restaurants. The spirit of Christmas is overwhelmingly present in large buildings. Glittering lights are everywhere. They blend with the balmy air of the season. Christmas trees are so colourful. Many shopping malls stage stunning performances. Marching bands playing Christmas music, brightly dressed children singing carols and attractive performers dancing are simply great. They are impressive.

And most important of all, people unite in prayers for peace in the family, community and in the world to live in harmony. This is Christmas!
