I like the Mid-Autumn Festival very much. It is a wonderful festival. The legend about Hou Yi who shot down nine suns was very interesting.

People do a lot of things to celebrate this festival. People like watching the moon because it is bright and clean. I think the moon is beautiful. People also like eating mooncakes and different kinds of fruit such as star fruit and pomeloes. There are many kinds of flavours of mooncakes. I like snow-skin mooncakes the best because they are yummy. The children like to play with lanterns in the park. We can find all kinds of lanterns in the shops. They are in different colours and shapes.

The Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes family reunion. People like to gather and have dinner together. At this festival, I often have a big dinner with my family in a restaurant. Then we eat mooncakes and play with lanterns. I love Mid-Autumn Festival the best!
