Everybody knows the story of the Hansel and Gretel but nobody knows the real story. Nobody has ever heard my side of the story. I’m the witch, Mary. C. Witch. The real story is about a candy house.
Way back in once upon a time, I was making a candy house. After making the candy house, I saw a boy and a girl.
Why did I let them come into my home? Everybody thought that I wanted to eat them. In fact, they were lost so I wanted to let them find their parents on the next day.
Finally, I pushed the boy into the oven. Everybody thought that I wanted to eat the boy. In fact, the boy said he was very cold so I pushed him into the oven and made him warm.
And that’s the real story. Which story do you like? The Hansel and Gretel or the True Story of the Hansel and Gretel?
