My favorite festival is Chinese New Year. I think many people like Chinese New Year.

I like Chinese New Year because this special festival only belongs to all Chinese people. The day before Chinese New Year, I like to go to the flower market to buy flowers with my mother. In Chinese New Year, I can wear new clothes, get red packets and have many sweets. Usually, I will donate some of my red packet money to the people in need because we have to care people around us.

I like to watch fireworks with my grandma in the Chinese New Year because fireworks are very beautiful and colorful. If there is a chance, I will go to watch lion dances with my cousin because I like the musical rhythm that the lions dance with it. My Mum will cook a big meal for dinner so that our family can get together to eat and talk. I like fish and crabs because they are delicious.

Chinese New Year is really an exciting festival.
