A Trip to Lantau Island

I went to Lantau Island today. The weather is sunny. Miss Tang took me to Lantau Island with my classmates. We first took the Ngong Ping Cable Car at Tung Chung MTR Station. Then we walked for around 10 minutes to Po Lin Monastery.

The Big Buddha is 34 metres high and weighs 220 tonnes. It sits on a mountain top on Lantau Island. It is the biggest Buddha in the world.

Near the Big Buddha is the Po Lin Monastery. Some visitors go there to have a vegetarian meal.

I felt happy.
