Last Friday, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit northeastern Japan.

Many countries sent their rescue teams to Japan to save people buried under the damaged houses.

In Japan, 5000 people died, 30,000 people were lost.

On the TV, I saw that many thousands of people were flowed away by tsunami.

A 72-year-old-woman almost flooded away by the tsunami. Luckily, she held a post and it saved her life.

I hope they can rebuild their houses soon.
